Exterior Painting
Protect your home from sun and heat with a finish that will not chalk, fade or peel.

California sun chalks, fades and cracks paint faster than almost anything else. Exterior paint is your home’s first line of defense against heat, UV and winter rain. The finish only lasts if the prep is done right, so we never skip it.
Our process
- Pressure wash to remove dust, chalking and mildew
- Scrape and sand loose paint, replace rotted trim and fascia
- Patch stucco cracks, caulk gaps and prime bare wood and repairs
- Apply two coats of premium, UV-resistant exterior paint
Surfaces we paint
Stucco, wood and fiber-cement siding, brick, trim, fascia, eaves, shutters, front doors and garage doors.
Common questions
- What time of year is best for exterior painting?
- Fall through spring is ideal. In summer we start early and follow the shade around the house so paint never goes onto a scorching wall. We do not paint when the surface is damp.
- How long will the paint last?
- With proper prep and quality paint, expect seven to ten years in full sun. South- and west-facing walls take the most abuse, so we sometimes recommend an extra coat there.
- Can you fix cracks in my stucco?
- Yes. Hairline cracks get an elastomeric patch and a high-build primer. Larger cracks and missing chunks are patched and textured to match before paint.
