Cabinet Refinishing

A sprayed, factory-smooth finish that makes tired cabinets look brand new.

Kitchen with white upper cabinets and blue painted lower cabinets

Replacing kitchen cabinets is expensive and disruptive. Refinishing gives you the same visual transformation for a fraction of the cost, usually in under a week.

What we do

  • Remove doors, drawers and hardware and label everything
  • Degrease, sand and prime every surface
  • Spray a durable cabinet enamel for a smooth, brush-free finish
  • Reinstall with new hardware if you want it

Finish options

We use waterborne alkyd enamels that cure hard and resist chipping. Popular choices are soft whites, warm greiges and deep greens or navies for islands. In a bright kitchen, a slightly warmer white usually looks cleaner than a stark one.

Common questions

Do you spray or brush cabinets?
Doors and drawer fronts are sprayed off-site in our shop. Cabinet boxes are sprayed on-site with full masking.
How long is my kitchen out of commission?
Plan for four to six days. You can still use the kitchen for most of that time.
Are my cabinets good candidates for painting?
Almost always. Solid wood cabinets from the 1990s and 2000s are often built better than new boxes. They just need a modern finish.
